WORLD FAMOUS SC VILLAGE

JULY 25th-26th, 2016

AIRSOFT RULES

If you are caught cheating or breaking these rules, you may be asked to leave without a refund, so please pay attention to below rules:

1) Full face masks must be worn at all times whole on any playing fields and in the chroming areas.  Never lift up or remove your mask on the fields for any reason. Giant Airsoft does not allow any “mesh” or “wired” goggles - as BBs may shatter and harm the eyes.  Masks used for paintball are the best option as they cover the full face and ears, but fully sealed goggles made specifically for airsoft plus mesh or hard plastic lowers are also acceptable.  A shemagh, scarf or other soft lowers are not acceptable. If you are unsure - please talk to a staff member.

2) When not on the field, yo must remove your magazine and turn the safety on. Barrel blocking devices are required for all airsoft weapons  when not on the playing fields.  Pistols must be holstered and cleared before existing the playing fields as well. When exiting the field you must remove your magazine or clip and fire the weapon to clear the chamber of any BBs.  IF you have any questions regarding your barrel blocking device or how to clear your chamber, please talk to a staff member.  NOTE: Gloves, socks or similar are not acceptable barrel blocking devices, it MUST be a proper barrel bag, or barrel plug that is secured by elastic.  Please bring one with your as we only have limited stock in the pro shop.

3) Keep your barrel blocking device on your weapon until a referee tells you to remove it before the a game starts.  Keep YOUR fire on YOUR field.  Do not fire at paintball players, referees or eliminated players. Control your fire at all times and never stick your barrel into holes or cracks smaller than your head. You are allowed to fire through small holes if you are at last 12” away from the opening. You will be eliminated if you are shot through the opening.

4) All AEGs and gas powered pistoles must be chromed no higher than 400fps with .20 BBs.  THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. Sniper rifles cannot fire at players closer than 25 yards away.  An Airsoft sniper rifle must be single shot and bolt action only.  If you are using a sniper rifle you must be able to accurately judge a distance of 25 yards, if you are caught shooting faster than the chromo speed you will be asked to leave without a refund.  Airsoft weapons may shoot in single shot, semi auto or full auto firing modes.

5) You must not shoot players from closer than 10 feet.  If you are behind a player and he or she is unaware of your presence then you are required to ask them to surrender.  That player must surrender and is eliminated from the game.  Surrender is not an option if you are closer than 10 feet. If you encounter a player by running up to them you must yell BANG BANG instead of shooting that player. If 2 players encounter each other at the same time then one player must say PARLAY which allows both players to be neutral and back up to safe cover and continue playing.  If a player is hit while backing up then that player is NOT eliminated. If there is any disagreement between players regarding this or any other rule please contact a referee.  Do not argue with the referees - their decision is final.

6) You are eliminated when a BB hits you anywhere on your body or head.  If you are hit in the gun or by ricochets then you are NOT eliminated.  If you are hit by a bb then yell out HIT And exit your current location as quickly as possible and head to the designated eliminated players area.  Players are not allowed to talk while walking off the field.  If you believe a player on the other team is not calling themselves out then do not yell at them, but instead inform a referee. If you are found yelling at other players then you will be called out yourself.  If you see a teammate not calling themselves out, then inform them that you saw them get hit and that they should eliminate themselves from the game, if this player continues then please inform a referee.  When a player is caught cheating his wristband will be marked for their first offence and they will be asked to leave if this happens again.

7) Grenades and Grenade launchers are allowed as long as they do not produce a spark or smoke.  Anyone within a 5 foot radios of where the grenade first hits the ground is eliminated.  If a grenade is thrown into a bunker then all the players inside the bunker are eliminated.  If players are behind solid cover like rocks and walls then they are not eliminated.  IF you are hit by BBs fired by a rifle mounted grenade launcher you are eliminated. Fireworks, flash bangs and pyrotechnic devices are not allowed.

8) You are allowed to use rubber knives and rubber bayonets to eliminate other players. You can eliminate a player by tapping them once with a rubber knife.  Not items are allowed to be thrown other than grenades.

9) Never leave any gear or equipment unattended.  Giant Airsoft is not responsible for any lost or stolen goods.  You are responsible for your gear and equipment at all times.  Never fire or expose your weapons in public, this includes the parking lot. Try to keep your gear packed up and contained until you are ready to enter the playing field.  Treat your weapons like real firearms and never point your weapons at anyone off the field or look down the barrel.

10) No fighting, yelling, arguing or cussing at players or staff members. Always play fair an honourable. Airsoft is an honour sport and only fun when all players are honest and call themselves out when they are eliminated.  Airsoft is just a game and meant to be fun, so treat it as such.
